FSA opts for St Ives’ Premium Print Quality and Customer Service

Alan Warner, Customer Services Director - Public Sector, St Ives plc

Wednesday 18. March 2009 - The UK's leading print service provider, St Ives plc, was recently awarded a three-year framework agreement to supply print for the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the UK's independent body that regulates the financial services industry.

Following a strict EU tendering process, St Ives was selected from 39 candidates to print the FSA’s “Money Made Clear” and “Making the Most of Your Money” material. There are currently over 20 titles in the series, which vary from 12 to 44 pages, and run lengths extend from 5,000 to 750,000 copies.

Alan Warner, Customer Services Director of the St Ives Group’s Public Sector team, adds, “We are extremely proud to be working with such a prestigious organisation. St Ives is committed to working in close partnership with the FSA, and both organisations have developed clear communication channels to ensure a streamlined workflow and customer satisfaction.”

Another key factor to St Ives’ selection included its ability to deliver print via its Crayford and Edenbridge sites, which together provide both sheetfed and web offset printing capabilities. In addition, St Ives’ Group offering enables it to provide other print applications on demand, such as reports and accounts, point of sale, and exhibition graphics.

The “Money Made Clear” and “Making the Most of Your Money” material are a part of the FSA’s financial capability objectives to promote public understanding of the financial system.

The “Money Made Clear” booklets are targeted at consumers and provide clear, impartial information to get a head start with personal finances through free, plain English guides, which cover a wide range of topics, both general and product-specific.

“Making the Most of Your Money” is geared towards employees at their places of work, helping personnel improve their ability to understand, manage and plan their finances. The project also offers seminars, supported by information booklets, flyers and posters supplied by St Ives.

Alan concludes, “Companies can order up to 2000 copies of any Money Made Clear publication from the FSA or for orders over 2000 copies, St Ives provides a printing service directly to firms. St Ives can deliver a cost-effective solution for the FSA’s print requirements, establishing high-standard customer service from the start of what we hope will be a long-term working partnership.”
