Deji Sees Huge Productivity Increase with Nipsons VaryPress
Friday 30. May 2008 - New digital printing technology takes output from millions to billions.
Beijing Deji Adhesive Labels & Printing Co., Ltd., produced tens of millions labels per year before becoming a Nipson customer. But they realized great changes after they acquired the Nipson VaryPress 200 production press in 2006 through Syntax, Nipsons value-added distributor in China. The high quality print, reliable operation, low running cost, and wide range of substrates enabled by the VaryPress allowed Deji to capture much more business and drive their annual output of labels into the billions.
“The Nipson production press we are using is the first installation in the local Label industry. Its unique cold flash fusing process and resolution of 600dpi have allowed us to stand out from other competitors,” says Yu Dayang, General Manager of Deji. “We can provide competitive label solutions with special substrates and magnetographic imaging technology to meet customers needs. For example, The Digital Security Labels Deji produced last year with the VaryPress won the Highest Award in the First China Print Awards.” These Electronic Monitoring Barcode labels are printed for assigned merchandise and are implemented by the authorities to control product safety and quality, so they must be clear, legible, and well made.
Arie Levi, Nipsons Sales Manager for Asia, comments, “Deji and Nipson make a great team. The VaryPress is ideal for their label printing business, allowing them to expand their markets and deliver both great products and great service. As a result of their utilization of the VaryPress digital production press, Deji has won substantial new business and now is the benchmark in the field.”
