CLIPS : robotic layer preparation for palletization using PAL-DESIGNER SOFTWARE

CLIPS manages and optimizes the robotic layer preparation of all products to be palletized at high working speeds.
CLIPS uses innovative software allowing :
– the creation and simulation in real time of the required patterns
– the automatic control of the robotic system
The machine throughput can be estimated and communicated to the user easily.
Before the launch of a production batch, CLIPS automatically calculates the gripper movements which are requested of the 2, 4 or 6 working robots.
The CLIPS concept which combines software and palletizing robots is evolutionary and enables the addition of 2 to 4 or 4 to 6 robots and to pass the installation into automatic mode.
CLIPS controls 3 parameters :
? The layout : for example the addition or removal of robots, or modifications to operating speed ;
? The building of full pallets and the possibility to create new patterns ;
? The product specifications : static parameters (dimensions, weight) and dynamic parameters (stability, slide, inertia). The size of the products can be adjusted and the robot movements and PLC data recalculated automatically.
CLIPS allows high flexibility in terms of packaging evolution.
This system is particularly suitable for the beverage industry, co-packers and household products where new packaging is constantly being developed.
