callas software partners with Databrand in Latin America
Thursday 02. April 2026 - callas software today announced its partnership with Databrand, a Brazilian reseller and integrator, to strengthen its presence in Brazil and support growth across the wider Latin American market. Databrand has over 20 years of experience building solutions for graphic arts workflows, and this partnership reflects callas softwares increasing focus on Latin America as a key growth region.
“Our customers are increasingly looking for efficiency, predictability, and large-scale productivity,” comments Francisco Deijangle, Managing Director, Databrand: “In this context, we identified in callas software the level of automation, reliability, speed, and flexibility required to enable this next stage of operational performance.”
By combining deep technical expertise with the advanced PDF technology from callas, Databrand is well-positioned to deliver more efficient, standardized, and scalable production environments across Latin America. pdfToolbox, callas’s flagship product line, is versatile and customizable enough to serve as the core PDF processing engine for automated PDF workflows of every size.
“We don’t sell our solutions directly to end-users, but partner with local resellers or integrators who have a high degree of knowledge. The expertise Databrand has in-house with regard to color management, standardization, and workflow automation is exactly the mix of skills we love to see,” adds David van Driessche, Chief Evangelist at callas software: “pdfToolbox can do anything from simple preflight, to serving in complex scenarios such as the creation of proof sheets, adding cut contours, undercolor white, verifying barcodes… Products with that level of versatility naturally come with a learning curve, and require a strong partner to get the most out of them. This is why callas continues to expand its partner network with organizations that bring strong technical expertise and local market understanding.”
