Roland DG announces the largest product expansion to date with the addition of new TrueVIS Series

Friday 27. January 2023 - Roland DG, a leading provider of digital printing solutions, today announces the expansion of the TrueVIS product range. It is the companys biggest launch to date, bringing new models and technologies with different ink configurations into a single product range.

New devices offer unparalleled possibilities for the signmaking industry
Building on the legacy of the TrueVIS Series, these devices will revolutionise the printing industry by incorporating UV print and cut technology (with the high-productivity LG Series and multifunctional MG Series), as well as Roland’s first water-based resin ink printer (the AP-640 model). Together with the four eco-solvent models introduced in March 2022, the TrueVIS range expands to a total of 10 printers.
Unique and unmatched in the industry, the TrueVIS range offers industry-leading image quality. It also supports a wide range of applications, ensuring that no application requirement or quality expectation is out of reach for customers.
The new resin ink model offers natural expressiveness by exploiting the texture of the material and with inks that are more environmentally friendly. The new UV models offer high definition, adding three-dimensional effects for the reproduction of artwork and tactile communication elements such as Braille, taking UV printing to a new level.
The new hardware system included in all models offers significant improvements in user interaction and digital connectivity through Roland DG Connect. This system is designed to increase competitiveness and significantly decrease user downtime.
Tony Miller, President of Roland DG’s Global Sales and Marketing Division, comments: “User needs have changed and continue to change against a backdrop of rapid technological innovation, social change and increasing awareness of environmental issues. In this context, print helps to convey information and create a positive message.
We are pleased to be able to support our customers in this changing landscape with the launch of the new TrueVIS Series models to offer them more choice and innovative solutions. Regardless of the print technology they choose, our customers can count on the same industry-leading TrueVIS print quality and reliability across the range.
Since the first model was launched in 2016, the TrueVIS series has gained worldwide recognition from print professionals for its high quality.
In addition to this expansion, Roland DG has launched a virtual assistant that helps customers find the perfect TrueVIS product for their needs, simplifying the complexity of the search. Each product is scored and weighted to provide accurate results, recommending the right product for the customer along with alternatives to consider.
