Roland DG launches the 3rd generation of TrueVIS
Wednesday 09. March 2022 - The VG3 and SG3 models are aimed at print service providers for signs & graphics and personalised products and can be used for a wide range of applications including signage and banners, vehicle graphics, stickers and labels.
Roland DG has launched the third generation of TrueVIS print and cut plotters, including the VG3-640/540 for professional applications and the SG3-540/300 with a particularly attractive price-performance ratio. The new additions to the company’s popular TrueVIS range are part of the latest generation of wide-format eco-solvent inkjet devices to hit the print & cut market.
User-friendly and exceptionally efficient
The new TrueVIS machines have been designed for an enhanced user experience. New features include a user-friendly interface with a 7-inch LCD touch panel, automated media feed and media gap adjustment for less operator intervention, and easier media setup with one-touch media holders. In addition, media take-up is now included on all TrueVIS 3 units with an automated set-up function.
Proactive maintenance and device information provided through Roland DG Connect ensures efficiency improvements. A clear, colour-coded dashboard provides an instant view of all overall statistics and offers efficient printer management and cost tracking.
The devices also feature the time-saving colour matching and variation job function supported by the latest version of VersaWorks. This allows users to select print quality and colour correction settings and combine output samples with different output settings to determine the final combination of settings.
Highest quality output
The VG3 and SG3 offer unparalleled TrueVIS print quality that is highly regarded in the market. The VG3-640/540 uses a new eight-colour ink set for unsurpassed colour matching and visual expressiveness. The impressive results combine vivid and rich colours, smooth gradations, neutral greys and natural skin tones. The SG3-540/300 is available in CMYK.
One step ahead of the printing evolution
“We are very excited to launch these next-generation TrueVIS print and cut plotters,” said Paul Willems, Product Management & Business Development Director at Roland DG EMEA. “Since its launch in 2016, we have focused on expanding our award-winning TrueVIS offering.
