Roland DG expands options for the VersaUV LEC2 range

Tuesday 06. July 2021 - Roland DG has added new orange and red ink options to its VersaUV LEC2 range of UV roll-to-roll printerscutters and VersaUV LEC2 S range of UV flatbed printers, and now also offers a larger version of the optional extension table designed specifically for the LEC2-640.

New. Orange and red EUV5 inks
The VersaUV LEC2 range has been popular with graphic designers and packaging prototype manufacturers since its launch in January 2021. The potential of these versatile devices is now being further expanded: New orange and red EUV5 inks complement the original range of CMYK, white, gloss and printable primers.
An ink configuration that includes orange and red is optimal for those who need to meet brand manufacturers’ demands for true colour prints. The new colour gamut is also an ideal solution for print service providers who want to add vibrancy and impact to their printed products so their graphics stand out – including backlit displays, canvas prints and decorative applications.
GREENGUARD GOLD certified EUV5 ink is suitable for a wide range of printing options. It offers impressive print quality at any speed and adheres easily to an almost unlimited number of materials and substrates.

New. ET-64 for feeding stacks of folding cartons:
Following on from the success of the ET-30 extension table, which assists stability when feeding rigid substrates such as cardboard for packaging prototypes, Roland DG has announced the introduction of the new ET-64 accessory. The extension table is compatible with the LEC2-640 printer/cutter and is suitable for all folding carton applications* up to B1 size.
