Konica Minolta Named Once Again to the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World

Tuesday 15. February 2022 - Konica Minolta, Inc. has been named to the 2022 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World. Overall, this marks the fifth time Konica Minolta has been ranked among the 100 most sustainable corporations in the world, as well as the fourth time in a row.

The Global 100 are announced annually by the Canadian-based organisation Corporate Knights at the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting, known as the Davos Meeting. However, as the Davos meeting was postponed to the summer this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Global 100 results were announced ahead of schedule.
The 2022 Global 100 companies that excel in sustainability were selected based on a rigorous assessment of 6,914 companies with revenues of more than US$1 billion around the globe. Environmental, social and governance indicators were taken into account, as well as the ability to promote diversity and innovation and the percentage of sales of environmentally friendly products. Three Japanese companies are on this global list of companies that excel in sustainability.
Konica Minolta combines the strengths developed over decades in its business areas with the latest digital technologies to offer high value-added products and services, contributing to the achievement of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), the United Nations’ (UN) 17 current global goals for sustainable development.
