Wednesday 21. January 2015 - TWIST 7.5 now supports even more image file formats, such as Raw, png and psdand offers a seamless, direct connection from Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, making it easier for designers to connect to TWIST tools.
DALIM SOFTWARE announces the launch of TWIST 7.5, a significant update of its popular and long-standing production automation software. The new features in TWIST extends the software’s reach beyond its traditional print production and image workflows to support media production for the brand enterprise. In doing so, production automation is expanded from business process management to final file processingfrom preflight to image handling to video.

And in order to simplify interaction with TWIST workflows, DALIM SOFTWARE is providing the new TWIST Link plugin, which provides an easy-to-use connection to a TWIST media workflow engine, for file processing directly from Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. Based on Adobe’s standard PDF export and the DALIM SOFTWARE WEBLINK API, TWIST Link removes the complexity of PDF creation and file transfer with one simple user interface, and sends any document to a selected TWIST workflow.
