CEWE COLOR Holding AG: Investor basis remains stable

Sentosa informed CEWE COLOR Holding that the full share package of Sentosa Beteiligungs GmbH, which most recently held 5.3% of the CEWE COLOR Holding AG (SDAX, ISIN: DE0005403901) shares, has been sold to several long-term investors. Dr. Rolf Hollander, Chairman of the Board of Management of CeWe Color Holding AG, points out: ‘We are a publicly listed, family-owned enterprise with a long-term focus. We are thus particularly pleased that Sentosa has found suitable investors reportedly for the next stage of the company’s development within only a few days. This evidences very well that even larger packages can be rapidly traded with the market situation in mind.’ ACN Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG of the joint heirs of company founder Heinz Neumüller remains the anchor investor with a share ownership of 27.4%. Dr. Joh. Christian Jacobs has had a participating interest in CEWE COLOR Holding AG since 2008 with Sentosa Beteiligungs GmbH.
Supervisory Board thanks Dr. Jacobs
Dr. Joh. Christian Jacobs has expressed the wish to leave the Supervisory Board of CEWE COLOR Holding AG in conformity with the Articles of Association to take effect on 28 February 2013, in order to concetrate more on his activities as Chairman of the Jacobs Foundation, which pools the business interests of the Jacobs family. ‘On behalf of all the members of the Supervisory Board, I express my sincere thanks to Dr. Jacobs for his many years of committed service to the Supervisory Board. We deeply regret his decision and wish him all the best for the future,’ said Otto Korte, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CEWE COLOR Holding AG and spokesman for the ACN community of heirs.
Dr. Jacobs committed to CEWE for more than four years
Dr. Jacobs has been a member of the Supervisory Board of CEWE COLOR Holding AG since May 2008. ‘I am delighted to have been able to be a part of the transformation of the company as an investor and Supervisory Board member, and I leave with the good feeling that CEWE COLOR is excellently positioned for the future with its different business areas. As the European market leader in photofinishing, CEWE regularly sets new trends and produces innovations with its core product, the CEWE PHOTO BOOK and its photo calendars, greetings cards and wall decorations. Besides, online printing is the growth driver that is to generate an additional contribution of more than 100 million euros to turnover. Personally, with my decision, I am now able to concentrate more on my work in the Jacobs Foundation,’ says Dr. Jacobs.
