The new Quantum at its launch in CPI Firmin-Didot, Paris

Thursday 22. April 2010 - CPI will have an exciting presence at this year’s London Book Fair at Earls Court, showcasing its unique ‘1 to 1 million books’ offer at stand U570.

The London Book Fair is a key event in the global publishing calendar, with over 23,000 publishing professionals expected to attend from 112 countries. CPI will be hosting three days of meetings at the Fair, with 40 CPI staff and Directors involved.

The theme of CPI’s stand will be ‘1 to 1 million books’, including a video presentation of the new CPI Quantum, the most modern book production line in the world. Quantum is the first industrial scale equipment to combine digital printing, finishing and binding.

UK Sales Director Alison Kaye said: “I’ll be on hand with my team to explain CPI’s unique offer – being able to support the entire lifecycle of any title. We’ll be hoping to put across that, whether it’s printing a million of the latest bestseller, or producing a digital one-off, CPI has the capacity and the technology to meet publishers’ demands.”

CPI’s focus on excellence and innovation will be highlighted at the Fair, with examples of books produced using the range of manufacturing technologies offered by CPI, as well as new products such as SuperMatt lamination.

CPI Antony Rowe has a long tradition of helping authors produce their own books to the highest professional standards. Representatives will be available to discuss services for small publishers and self-publishers.

The sales team look forward to meeting as many customers as possible at The London Book Fair – visit CPI at stand U570 in Earls Court 2 or contact your representative to arrange an appointment.
