Friday 26. February 2010 - New entity will report directly to company headquarters in Japan
In recognition of the growing importance of Latin America and its strategic relevance to the companys business objectives, RISO, INC. announced that it has spun off its Latin American division into a separate entity reporting directly to the companys headquarters in Japan. The announcement was made today at the Graphics of the Americas exposition.
The organization, to be known as RISO LATIN AMERICA, INC., will provide dealers a more responsive operation by enabling them to communicate directly with the companys leadership and to capitalize on market opportunities and needs.
The move underscores the companys commitment to the region, applying a “think globally, act locally” strategy to leverage the strength and reputation of the global brand as it allocates resources to fulfill the potential of Latin America, which is key to the companys growth.
“Our dealers in the region will find a more nimble and streamlined RISO able to anticipate and respond to their needs like never before,” said Guillermo Moramarco, vice president of RISO LATIN AMERICA, INC. “We kick off our 21st year in the region under a new structure and with a transition that is seamless to our dealers, customers and employees,” he said, adding that key personnel and contacts will remain unchanged.
Headquartered in Pembroke Pines, Florida, RISO LATIN AMERICA, INC. was previously part of RISOs International Division.
