Tensor Group Wins Tender Bid for Yemen News Agency (SABA) Pressline

Tuesday 13. October 2009 - Yemen News Agency (SABA) of The Republic of Yemen has awarded the contract to supply a new web offset printing press to Tensor Group, Inc. of Woodridge, Illinois. The press will produce newspapers and books on a 6 unit, 1 folder configuration. Yemen News Agency plans to expand the new press in the near future with an additional 6 printing units.

The 40″ wide T-400BE 4-high tower will print 4 colors; the 2-high tower will print 2 webs of black at a speed up to 40,000 iph. Yemen News Agency plans to produce both tabloid (8 pages color and 16 pages black) and broadsheet papers (4 pages color and 8 pages black), plus quarter-folded books.
