Fuji Xerox Australia Awarded Ecolabel for Environmental Performance
Monday 17. August 2009 - Fuji Xerox Australias range of office multifunction devices have been recognised for excellence in environmental performance after achieving the Environmental Choice Mark ecolabelling certification. Fuji Xerox Australia is also the first and only company in the print industry to receive the environmental product performance license for A3 multifunction devices.
Good Environmental Choice is the only environmental labelling program in Australia which indicates a products environmental performance from an entire product life cycle perspective. The label is awarded to products that meet voluntary environmental performance standards, which have been created and assessed in conformance to international requirements set by the Global Ecolabelling Network.

The current Environmental Choice Mark certification encompasses 20 Fuji Xerox multifunction devices designed for office use, with more products to be certified in the future. To achieve the certification, Fuji Xeroxs products were assessed against 18 stringent criteria, including energy usage, emissions, environmentally hazard materials, recycled content requirements and compliance with environmental regulations.
