AMCOR LITIGATION UPDATE
Thursday 23. July 2009 - Amcor announces today that it has reached an in principle resolution in relation to its Federal Court dispute with Cadbury on terms that are expected to have no material impact on Amcors financial position.
The dispute was in relation to Cadburys allegations of anti competitive conduct in the period up to December 2004.
The proceedings primarily related to allegations of a market sharing arrangement in relation to corrugated fibreboard packaging in the period between 2000 and 2004.
The proceedings were stood over today for a period of seven days to permit the parties to finalise the specific terms of their resolution.
A further announcement will be made when those terms are finalised.
