Favini launches a new face for the future

Monday 08. June 2009 - Favini is presenting a new face to the market this month. Following last year's reorganisation of Favini around it’s two Italian paper mills and with exciting plans for the future, it now wants to signal a strong new future.

The new design takes Favini back to its Italian roots with an elegant design, built on the simplicity of the word Favini. Strap lines and pay offs have been eliminated as a sign of confidence – Favini speaks for itself as a reference for specialty paper. In the new identity the word FAVINI becomes the central focus, boldly applied to letterheads and name cards and new packaging. A new series of swatches has been developed with FAVINI as the unifying element throughout.

Speaking about the changes, Andrea Nappa, CEO of Favini said, “New identity is symbolic of the changes happening inside Favini and of the important developments we are making to the business. Substantial new investments are in place for 2009 allowing us to offer continuous improvements to our products and service; there is a drive to improve our innovation processes and repeat successes like Alga Carta. The identity demonstrates our confidence in the future and our determination to offer stylish niche products to our customers”.

The new identity will be phased in during the next few months and coincides with the launch of refreshed changes to Shiro and Majestic, and new papers for bookbinding and enhanced printing. There is also a new web site in construction for easy access to Favini’s resources and information.

Favini intends to become the European reference for specialist highly differentiated papers, delivered with Italian style and fashion, caring for the environment. This means high levels of quality and service, listening to customer needs, innovative thinking, well presented products speaking the client’s language, placing the environment at the centre of all activities .
