More Brilliant Colours with Mediatex Lightbox

Monday 25. May 2009 - Junkers & Müllers developed the material especially to meet the specific demands made on printed images used in backlit applications. The result is colours shining so brightly that conventional substrates look simply faded by comparison.

The key differentiator of this fabric is its special coating. Conventional fabrics simply let the light shine through the material, causing colours to fade. However, the macro-porous coating of MediatexLightbox actually intensifies the brilliance of the colours. When light reaches the fabric it initially gets absorbed and then diffused through to the other side. This results in more brilliant colours while black remains truly black and does not turn grey.
The fabric is particularly suitable for department store systems, city lightboxes and all backlit showcases, in addition to the traditional exhibition stands. The flexible material is extremely easy to process and does not display any kinking or white brittle – a characteristic extremely important for backlits. MediatexLightbox is available in widths of up to 2 metres and can be printed with all solvent and uv inks.
