Printronix and TallyGenicom AG Reach Interim Sales Agreement in Europe and Worldwide

Thursday 16. April 2009 - Under Terms, Both Companies May Sell TallyGenicom-Branded Products Worldwide During Ongoing Trademark and Intellectual Property Rights Negotiations

Printronix Inc. and TallyGenicom AG today confirmed that both companies will continue to sell TallyGenicom-branded printers and components in Europe and worldwide with no limitations.
Following the March 23, 2009 announcement made by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware naming Printronix the winning bidder in the court-supervised auction of certain assets of TallyGenicom LP, TallyGenicom AG voiced disagreement over sale of certain assets. Printronix and TallyGenicom now have reached an agreement in principle to resolve disputes between them. While the detailed agreement is being prepared, each company is permitting the other to sell TallyGenicom-branded products to customers worldwide as well as purchase necessary components from suppliers.
