Tuesday 04. November 2008 - Fujifilms Taskero Universe is a process-based solution that increases profitability and reduces waste.
Consisting of three components – ColorPath Verified, Server Performance Management, and Hardware Monitoring – Taskero Universe offers an opportunity to control and manage color production from the design and prepress stage all the way through to the pressroom.
Taskero Universe delivers real time information about the status of each customers print performance, alerting them to routine maintenance and alerting Fujifilms Print Performance team to potential issues. Taskero Universe monitors print performance via a simple connection to the Internet. It provides users with invaluable data, and analyzes it to identify trends, build reports and capture important device and product performance information.
Fujifilm Taskero Universe Features
ColorPath Verified enables users to communicate, control and confirm color across numerous devices, including monitors, inkjet and digital halftone proofers, computer-to-plate devices, as well as conventional and digital printing presses. Users verify color on every output using printed calibration strips, providing immediate feedback on the status of the device and its conformance with an established target. ColorPath Verified also securely maintains all records and tracks data, providing benchmarks and identifying trends that can affect color.
Taskero Universe features a Server Performance Management module that ensures each customers server is performing properly and efficiently. Fujifilm has partnered with industry-leading manufacturers to create a proactive solution aimed at optimizing server performance.
Taskero Universe Hardware Monitoring, monitors both the printers hardware and environment, giving them early notification of possible plating problems and allowing them to take action before the problems unexpectedly stop production. The goal is to streamline the production process from the server room all the way to the pressroom.
Taskero Universe is a system used by Fujifilms Print Performance Team as part of its Print Excellence service. Consultants work on-site with customers to improve print quality, maintain print consistency and reduce print costs.
