November 2008 - Mutohs ValueJet series of high-resolution outdoor printers - including the new 1608 hybrid and the 1618 - are high-quality outdoor commercial grade printers that are easy to install, operate and maintain. The devices provide astonishing, brilliant color, exceptional image quality and best-in-class print speeds.
The ValueJets improved print speeds are made possible through a combination of Mutohs revolutionary new X-Rail design and piezo print head technology. The ValueJet series features 1,440 nozzles and variable dot technology to produce durable outdoor, photo quality images at resolutions of 360, 540, 720 and 1,440 dpi. These devices provide additional productivity without compromising image quality by offering 10 print modes, including a new 540×720 dpi mode thats perfect for banners.
The ValueJet series also incorporates Mutoh’s patented Intelligent Interweaving printing technique allows for increased print speed that virtually eliminates banding with exceptional image quality. The 10 print modes allow for a wide range of printing possibilities on a variety of inexpensive, uncoated media.
