HGI Company Taps Fujifilm For Inca Digital Onset

Inca Onset

Friday 31. October 2008 - FUJIFILM Graphic Systems U.S.A., Inc. announced today the sale of the Inca Onset flatbed UV digital press to HGI Company, LLC.

Introduced last year, the Inca Digital Onset represents a breakthrough in digital printing and produces high-quality, short run point-of-purchase and display graphic products. The two companies signed a letter of intent on the first day of Graph Expo 2008. The installation at HGI Company will be just the tenth installation of the Inca Onset worldwide.

HGI Company, headquartered in Burlington, Wisc., is a full-service printer that specializes in the printing of catalogs, publications, specialty books, marketing collateral and P-O-P materials through its four operating divisions. The addition of the Inca Onset is evidence of HGI Company’s expansion into point-of-purchase and display graphics reproduction market segments.

Through recent acquisition, HGI Company is creating a new division specializing in P-O-P display and design. Industry veteran and division President Mike Draver said, “The Inca Onset is an excellent complement to our wide range of traditional printing equipment; we feel it will allow us to effectively provide our client base a single source for all of their graphic print and design needs.” Craig Faust, president and CEO of HGI Company, added, “We feel the flexibility, technology and overall performance of the Inca Onset are unequaled and that this investment, in addition to our current capabilities and services, will give us a tremendous advantage over our competitors in this dynamic market segment.”

The Inca Digital Onset features the world’s fastest print speeds of any digital UV press, excellent image quality and world-class reliability and performance, and is sold by FUJIFILM Graphic Systems U.S.A., Inc. to the commercial offset market space in the United States.

“Fujifilm understands that print buyers require an integrated solutions provider that can fulfill all of their printing needs – including P-O-P and display graphics, offset and variable – and maintain consistent color and quality across all platforms,” says Steve Bennett, vice president, wide format and marketing, FUJIFILM Graphic Systems U.S.A., Inc. “We want to empower print producers to increase their diversification, growth and profitability through our marketing campaign focus.”
