Atlantic Zeiser launches OMEGA 72i printer at CARTES 2008 in Paris

The OMEGA 72i printer has a print width of 72mm, and operates with the next generation of LED UV curing solution, the SMARTCURE 72i. This printer is ideal for card and packaging printers and closes the gap between the OMEGA 36 and 210 printers. The LED technology used in the SMARTCURE 72i delivers space and energy savings when compared to other UV curing solutions, especially those using HG bulbs. With a maximum resolution of 360 x 360 dpi and a 60 meter per minute production speed, the OMEGA 72i provides efficient and economical single-pass inkjet printing of cards, labels, tags and other applications for the card and packaging industries.

The OMEGA 72i strengthens Atlantic Zeiser’s position in the digital printing market, especially as it relates to late-stage customization and personalization of cards, packaging and labels.
