October 2008 - At the next Luxe Pack trade fair that will be held in Monaco, from October 28 to October 31 2008, MEGAPLAST - MEGAPUMPS, the premier worldwide leader in airless technology, will showcase its wide range of innovative packaging solutions designed for bio-cosmetics as well as natural products for face and skin care.

Among the most outstanding airless dispensing solutions developed by MEGAPLAST – MEGAPUMPS, the Self-Sealing Actuator comes first. This patented double-valve system offers the highest level of protection to fragile formulas, without the use of preservatives. Indeed, it integrates an automatic sealing membrane in the pump orifice that offers an efficient barrier to the light and the air. Thus, the formula is permanently protected from all risks of contamination inside the pump. By significantly increasing product stability and shelf life, the Self-Sealing Actuator allows the reduction and elimination of the use of preservatives in the formulation. In addition, it prevents discoloration and dry out.
