MEGA enhances protection of formula with the Self-Sealing Actuator

The company, which employs 250 collaborators, comprises two entities: MegaPlast and MegaPumps based respectively in Germany and in the USA.

Among the most successful products launched by MEGA is the Self-Sealing Actuator. The key feature of this unique patented system relies on an automatic sealing membrane in the pump orifice that permanently prevents the formula from coming into contact with the air. Thus, the Self-Sealing Actuator reduces risks of contamination of the formula inside the pump. It also eliminates discoloration and dry-out at the orifice. Another major advantage offered by the Self-Sealing actuator is a significant increase of product stability and shelf-life. In addition, the MEGAs airless pump ensures highly precise doses and guarantees the recovery of almost all the product. This self-priming piston-pump system operates in any position in 360°.
Like all the other actuators proposed by MEGA, the Self-Sealing Actuator is available for a wide range of dispenser formats, round or oval shaped, offering several dosage options of 0.5 ml, 0.8 ml 1.0 ml and 1.5 ml; with sizes from 30 ml up to 200 ml. The dispenser solutions are all in plastic (no metal parts), which makes them compatible with most existing formulations. In order to meet the highest quality assurance and standards, each dispenser is 100 % function tested. To further enhance their customers products, MEGA integrates in its offer a complete range of services including technical support through the production stage (for lab analysis, dispenser filling, piston closing, etc.), decoration solutions or customized components.
