R.H. Donnelley Senior Vice President and General Manager to Discuss How to Sell in a Challenging Economy
Monday 08. September 2008 - Senior Executive Mike Boyce to Speak at The Kelsey Group's Directional Media Strategies 2008 Conference
R.H. Donnelley (NYSE:RHD), a leading print and online local search company, today announced that Senior Vice President and General Manager Mike Boyce will discuss how local search companies must adapt their sales strategies if they are to succeed and take advantage of opportunities in a challenging economy. Boyce will give his thoughts during a panel discussion entitled “Selling in a Down Economy” at The Kelsey Group’s Directional Media Strategies (DMS) 2008 conference.
“Local search companies need to provide small- and medium-size businesses with marketing strategies to help them succeed during a challenging economic environment and position them for growth when the marketplace improves,” said Boyce. “The key is being able to focus on helping these businesses understand how advertising now impacts their success in the long run.”
Boyce has 25 years of experience in the Yellow Pages industry. He has been senior vice president and general manager of the region where R.H. Donnelley publishes the EMBARQ(TM) Yellow Pages since 2006. Boyce has also held several marketing and business development positions within the company, including having served as vice president and chief marketing officer.
The panel is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 16, from 3:15 – 4:00 PM ET. DMS 2008 will be held in Atlanta at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
