New Dex Yellow Pages Directories Being Distributed Throughout Minneapolis

Wednesday 07. May 2008 - PLUS Directory 'Flip-Books' Also Provide Wealth of Local Business Information for the Entire Twin Cities Area

This month, Minneapolis residents will have an updated resource to turn to for all local search needs. The latest edition of the Dex(R) Yellow Pages includes detailed information on thousands of Minneapolis-area businesses, as well as a new Twin Cities Golf Guide, local area maps, shopping and restaurant guides, coupons and more.

In addition to the main Yellow Pages directory most residents are also receiving compact Minneapolis/St. Paul PLUS(TM) directories. These directories feature information on Minneapolis businesses on one side and St. Paul businesses on the other; residents simply need to flip the book over to find what they’re looking for in each city. PLUS directories are smaller versions of the larger book and are perfect for on-the-go consumers who wish to keep an extra directory in their car, or as a second directory in the home.

“The flip-book PLUS directories are a great example of a tool that is both comprehensive and convenient — two benefits that we strive to provide every year,” said Rebecca Tracy, regional marketing manager, Dex. “We are also delivering Residential White Pages and Community directories to many residents, and both business and residential listings can be found on DexKnows.com(TM), our online local search site.”

Helping Residents Find Local Businesses

Print Yellow Pages remain a vital resource for adults seeking local businesses. According to a recent Knowledge Networks/SRI Industry Usage Study, approximately 87 percent of the U.S. population used the print Yellow Pages in 2007. This accounted for more than 13.4 billion print Yellow Pages directory references, unchanged from 2006.
