Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses UK are pleased to announce the appointment of their new Managing Director Mr Shoji Murota

Friday 18. July 2008 - Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses UK are pleased to announce the appointment of their new Managing Director Mr Shoji Murota (right), who will take over from Thomas Doliwa who has decided to return to the continent at the end of September to take up a new challenge within the Graphic Industry and we would like to take this opportunity to wish him the best of luck in his new venture.

Mr Murota joins MLPUK from 1st October 2008 and  brings with him over 30 years of experience within the printing industry. He earned a Master Degree in Precision Engineering and originally joined the Mitsubishi Sheet Fed Division in 1974 and has been heavily involved in both service and production throughout career and helped establish the technical division in the USA in the early 90’s.

Murota joins MLPUK from MLP USA where he has been Senior Vice-President for the last 5 years and is looking forward to working in the UK and increasing Mitsubishi’s presence in the UK Market which he feels can only be enhanced by the recent Drupa Launch of the NEW Mitsubishi V3000 B1 Series of presses.

Also on the 1st of August, Mr Shota Masaki (left) will join   MLP (UK) Ltd. to reinforce the sales department and to  improve the daily communication with the parent company in Mihara in Japan.

Mr Masaki earned a university degree in commercial sciences and since then worked in the factory, serving as the bridge head for the daily business between Japan and the UK as well as for some other countries. He has already visited the UK market various times and also
some of our customers recently. He therefore is now looking forward to gain first hand field experience in the European market place and contribute to the growing success of Mitsubishi.
