Brazil buys 1,250th POLAR high-speed cutter
Wednesday 09. July 2008 - Since the first POLAR high-speed cutter was sold to Brazil in the early fifties, the country has shown a high level of dynamism, becoming South Americas leading industrial powerhouse. Thats precisely why we are so proud to have just sold the 1,250th highspeed cutter to Corprint Gráfica e Editora Ltda.
Corprint was founded in 1983 by Nobuo Maeda and the company is still run by members of the Maeda family today. With sites in São Paulo and Manaus, this commercial printing company specializes in the production of technical manuals.
Brazil too is seeing a growing trend towards increased productivity in printing companies, combining high quality with low prices. For some time now, Corprint has therefore been investing in state of the art equipment. This was the only way to ensure that it could stand up to the growing strength of the competition whilst also continuing to satisfy the increasing demands of its customers.
“Corprint is now 25 years old and this is our 6th POLAR. We trust the manufacturer because the machines combine high productivity with a precise level of quality. So, when it comes to making new investments, we don’t need long to decide. The high-speed cutters are used principally for preparing the material prior to printing but also for finishing,” said Cae Maeda in an interview, clearly proud of his new investment.
