From the drupacube to manroland

Symposiums about different themes are held in the drupacube every day.

manroland and the J.Fink printing company are working together in the drupacube, a meeting point for symposiums and networking at the world’s biggest printing industry exhibition. Print buyers meet here where the themes change each day.

After listening to talks in the drupacube, the audience has the opportunity to join a theme-related tour of manroland’s drupa stand. The demand for information from the world’s second-largest printing systems manufacturer remains very high.

“In the last three days alone we had around 150 visitors on our stand following drupacube symposiums,” reports Josef Aumiller, Vice President Sales Support Webfed Presses at manroland. The themes from 2 till 4 June were “Magazine Day”, “Corporate Publishing Day”, and “Dialog Marketing Day.” Themes dealt with included “Why we will need print and online in the future as well”, and the question whether print needs to reinvent itself was also investigated. Following the symposiums the audience came to the manroland drupa stand to learn how the various applications work in practice and which enhancement technologies manroland presses have to offer. “Our visitors are very eager to find out what is possible and ask many technical questions,” Aumiller is pleased to say. “This shows that print buyers are intensively searching for innovative solutions.” Other themes were the economic efficiency of printing presses as well as Applied Innovations.

Print buyers very impressed by the COLORMAN

The COLORMAN printing tower attracted a lot of attention on the part of print buyers. It impresses with its enhancement possibilities with UV and heatset-coldset and opens up new opportunities in newspaper production that go beyond classic newspaper printing. There are already 150 heatset-coldset installations worldwide.
