RealVue3D

Thursday 05. June 2008 - Product range to include new Designer Pro, Server and Photo editions New editions deliver superior design communication and sales opportunities

FFEI launches the latest additions to its successful 3D print simulation technology, RealVue3D – Now including RealVue3D Designer Pro, Server/Server Pro and Photo. Designed to further enhance design and creative communication, new RealVue3D editions provide additional functionality including sophisticated page folding options, a server based system for multiple users, and a photo album simulation capability suitable for amateur and professional photographic use.

Launched in 2007, RealVue3D’s initial product range included Presenter and Designer, both of which enable designers at all levels to convert any multi page PDF into a stunning and interactive three-dimensional visualisation for their client.

Adding a competitive edge into design tenders and concept approval processes, RealVue3D print simulations provides the viewer with a real sense of the look and feel of print projects, without the need for printing or mock ups. Print simulations can be e-mailed directly to the client or uploaded straight to the web for viewing – removing any print uncertainty, saving time and money as well as being environmentally positive.

New RealVue3D products include:

RealVue3D Designer Pro: Anyone engaged in the creating, pitching and approval of print concepts can now simulate simple and complex fold designs, allowing prospects and clients to truly engage with a sophisticated creative design long before ink hits paper. Gatefolds, tri-folds, multiple folds of variable page sizes and more are all possible – significantly enhancing the concept presentation process and reducing approval times and costs.

RealVue3D Server/Server Pro: A server based version of Designer/Designer Pro that allows multiple users to create print simulations via template driven hot-folders. Server Pro brings a level of workflow automation into the busy and fast moving print creation business – ideal for larger design and advertising agencies with multiple users.

RealVue3D Photo: A stand-alone application for creating and sharing interactive 3D photo albums. The Photo edition has a range of features designed to add value to both the amateur enthusiast and the professional photographer.

In addition to this, all new RealVue3D editions have been updated to include the following benefits:

New interactive Graphic Control Deck for even easier interaction with RealVue3D creations
New, Fast Streaming Technology for quicker web viewing of RealVue3D simulations
Automatic creation of HTML data for streamlined and hassle free web page uploading
Automatic page and document turning option
Flexibility to define simulation file size and quality, for a wide range of uses
Ability to brand, personalise and control the backgrounds of each simulation (Available on Designer/Designer Pro & Server/Server Pro only)
Mick Lister, Software Business Manager, FFEI comments, ‘Since we launched RealVue3D last year, the product has exceeded all our expectations. It always produces an incredible impact and definitely has that Wow! factor, helping designers better sell their ideas and gain approval of their concepts much faster. We have been working closely with users to develop new features, and I’m sure our customers will be delighted with the new capabilities and benefits’.

With RealVue3D, it is both quick and easy to create print simulations with no requirement for specialist software or skills to view them. Whether for Mac or PC, there is a version of RealVue3D to meet every business need.
