Cutting marking sensitive large formats at double the speed

Wednesday 28. May 2008 - With the high-performance CutMaster F 2200 sheeter bielomatik announces a revolutionary improvement in the handling of large formats. With this new arrival, speed is the trump card.

Large formats up to 1,400 mm can now be cut at 100 % higher web speeds. A combination of compression and shear stresses on the batches of sheets under machine braking normally produces unwanted marks on the finished paper. This used to mean that when matt and semi-matt papers were processed, the full machine capacity could not be used.

Existing CutMaster machines can be upgraded with the new SynchroSpeed overlapping. The use of the new braking system makes the machine speed largely independent of the type of paper. The batches of paper are now slowed down by compression forces alone, with no shearing movements at all. The result: greater productivity and “clean” paper in widths up to 2,200 mm.
