The PLUS in performance for spiral and wire comb binding
Tuesday 20. May 2008 - It is no longer a secret: substantial efficiency improvements in orders with medium to large batch sizes can only be achieved with shorter throughput times. The improved, fully-automated P 35-49plus spiral binding machine offers performance increases of 33% for A4 products and up to 100% for A5 products. The "superfast" spiral binder can be seen live on the bielomatik stand.
In answer to questions on the new exhibits, Dirk Vössing, CEO of bielomatik Leuze GmbH + Co. KG with responsibility for the paper segment, reports on the development work: “By developing close to the customer or often even right with the customer, we have been able to adapt our range of machines to the latest requirements in terms of efficiency and performance, and so assure the success of our customers in the future too.”
For example, the performance improvement of over 25% in the P 44-96plus wire comb forming machine was achieved in collaboration with the worlds largest producer of wire combs, to take advantage of their production experience. Instead of 2,500 loops per minute as before, this machine now manages 3,200.
