Krause continues innovation path with new products for this years drupa 2008 in Duesseldorf
Monday 26. May 2008 - The Krause - Biagosch GmbH presents a multitude of product innovations at drupa. The KIM 6.0 imposition solution and the SmartÆnÆEasy Commercial Line will have their world premieres in Duesseldorf.
Following the successful introduction of the SmartÆnÆEasy line for newspaper applications at IfraExpo 2007 in Vienna, the new commercial version will feature higher resolution and parameters precisely configured for commercial applications.
Thus, two SmartÆnÆEasy lines can be seen at drupa: For newspaper the SmartÆnÆEasy line with workflow, platesetter, processor and the new SmartÆnÆEasy Ben Punch/ Bender will debut. For commercial 50 x 70 applications the solution will include the KIM Commercial Workflow, SmartÆnÆEasy platesetter with high resolution, integrated punch and Violet Polymer processor.
Another highlight at drupa will certainly be the new KIM version 6.0 of the successful Krause Imposition Manager software. Besides the large number of new functionalities in the imposition program (dynamic press control marks, segmenting of print jobs, bottlingà), KIM surprises with a revolutionary and intuitive user interface, complete JDF integration into MIS and workflow systems and JDF output to cutting and folding machines.
With the new KIM Mac Bundle, also Apple users will benefit from the new way of impositioning that is featured by KIM 6.0
The complete Krause workflow portfolio will be presented in a new and fresh structure, including the four basic versions SmartÆnÆEasy Net for local newspapers with low output, JetNet Light for industrial but low output newspaper needs, JetNet, the high volume, industrial newspaper workflow which can be customized within a project to a fully automatic workflow and KIM Commercial as the entry workflow for commercial applications.
The Krause platesetters, LS Jet and LS Performance will feature new innovations that support man less production: supplied with a 120 mw violet diode for superior laser power and with a new construction of the electricity- and pneumatic switchboards for easier maintenance.
The NetTrack module enables platesetter supervision within the customer network and with the Krause Service Gateway, a secure and remote service connection to Krause can be established.
Violet chemical free surely is one of the drupa highlight in CTP platemaking, because the cost-efficient but reliable plate production is today more important than ever. Krause demonstrates this Technology in the LS Jet platesetter with connected BlueFin processor live at drupa and therewith underlines its innovation power, also with Violet Chemical Free!
The LS Performance is presented with new speed categories for higher throughput and better adoption to customer requirements.
With FlowControl, Krause offers a security tool which monitors all important functions in the Krause BlueFin processor in order to increase production security.
Besides further innovations and special offers still to be announce for drupa, Krause will present itself in a new and fresh appearance, including a completely new website presence.
