MLx rigid plastic multilayer technology combining drug protection with user safety
Friday 02. May 2008 - MLx is a multi-layer, injection blow-molded technology designed to optimise barrier performance as well as strength, clarity and pharmaceuticals compatibility.
Rexams MLx technology combines barrier properties to moisture, oxygen and vacuum resistance. Compared to glass, it brings compatibility with fragile formulations such as proteins and resistance to breakage to ensure user safety.
The technology is especially suitable for biotech drugs that require the best protection and for products that could endanger users in case of accidental exposure.
Since MLx packaging is shatter resistant, it allows automated handling of vials to improve productivity and better protection throughout the supply chain.
