drupa 2008: Trade Show Program for Print Buyers & Marketing Professionals

Friday 18. April 2008 - At drupa 2008 in Düsseldorf, Germany, the world’s largest trade show devoted to printing technology from May 29 to June 11, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) will be presenting a trade show program, consisting of tours, lectures and excursions for marketing professionals, creatives, production managers and purchasers.

Participants receive an overview of print innovations and their use for the brand and company communication: Why is the medium of print an indispensable element of effective brand and corporate communication? How can companies use special applications to design their print products to be even more successful?

Program overview

HEI Light Tour:
Directly at the presses at the exhibition halls Heidelberg will be explaining innovations and solutions for print buyers – from special applications to Prinect software for cross-linking print buyers and print shops.

Tour Dates:
German: May 29 and June 2, 6 + 10 at 2.30 p.m.
English: May 31 and June 4 + 8 at 2.30 p.m.

“Brands, Print & Rock ’n’ Roll” Tour:
The ultimate live print show in Gelsenkirchen at “GT Trendhouse 42”. Heidelberg will be amplifying the limits of print technology and will pitch security printing and special effects in premium print.

Tour Dates:
German: May 29, June 2-6 and June 10 + 11 at 10.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m.
English: May 29 + 30, June 2-6 and June 10 + 11 at 1.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m.

Packaging Day at the “drupa cube”:
The “drupa cube” is a meeting location offered by the trade fair to print buyers. Speakers of the Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG as well as other experts will be welcoming Print Buyers & Marketing Professionals to lectures and discussions about topics such as “Marketing and Packaging” as well as “Brand Protection”.
