Aluminium pigments: Bodo Möller Chemie Group takes over Benelux distribution for Silberline

Wednesday 09. March 2022 - Silberline is one of the leading suppliers of aluminium effect pigments worldwide. The company, founded in 1945, has transferred the distribution of its pigment products for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg to the Bodo Möller Chemie Group with effect from 1 March.

The Silverline effect pigments are used in a variety of applications, including automotive coatings, printing inks and plastics. The Benelux market enjoys a special status in this respect; the Netherlands alone has more than 120 paint and coatings manufacturers with a growing need for industrial effect pigments. “The cooperation with one of the leading manufacturers of aluminium pigments further strengthens our focus with high-performance products in the paint and coatings industry and consolidates our position as an additive and pigment supplier for a wide range of applications,” says Volker Oehl, Director Business Development at Bodo Möller Chemie. “Effect pigments are used in many plastics to improve functionality and aesthetics. Bodo Möller Chemie has its own branch office in the centrally located Belgian city of Antwerp. Bodo Möller Chemie Benelux N.V. has been in the market since 2009 and has an excellent network in the industries of the Benelux countries. With its own warehouse and logistics, the company also guarantees fast and reliable deliveries. The product range of Bodo Möller Chemie in Belgium already includes adhesives for the automotive industry, for packaging and for numerous other applications.
