3M and Mimaki Announce the 3M Performance Guarantee for Mimaki LX-100 Latex Inks and Select 3M Media
Thursday 29. November 2012 - 3M and Mimaki USA announce the 3M Performance Guarantee for Mimaki LX-100 latex inks (CMYK only) used in the JV400LX series printers with select 3M media. 3M's qualified-media portfolio for these OEM printers and inks incorporate a broad range of opaque, translucent and reflective products including the new 3MTMEnvisionTMwrap and translucent films. These products are designed, engineered, developed, tested and manufactured for optimal compatibility and performance.
About the 3M Performance Guarantee:
The 3M Performance Guarantee covers the performance of the 3M products used in approved graphic applications when imaged with the qualified OEM printers and inks. Approved 3M media and over laminates used in conjunction with the approved OEM inks are guaranteed to be free of media-induced artifacts that can cause misprints and are guaranteed to adhere to the recommended substrates. To qualify for the 3M Performance Guarantee, graphics must be installed according to 3M recommendations. The Performance Guarantee covers the replacement cost of 3M materials only and does not warrant image fading, cracking, peeling or any other ink performance issues. The duration of any given Performance Guarantee varies according to the graphic construction and applications as detailed in 3M Product Bulletins and available on 3M’s website.
About the Mimaki JV400-130LX and JV400-160LX printers:
The Mimaki JV400LX printers were released in April 2012. The JV400 product line achieves fast print speed and high print quality without compromise and features a newly developed environmentally friendly latex ink.
