LH-100 Clear Hard UV ink announcement

Monday 02. May 2011 - Mimaki USA is pleased to announce that clear ink has been added to its LH-100 hard UV ink lineup for the UJF-3042 model printer. The clear ink is available now.

The clear ink enables effects such as glossy finish and matte finish, adding value to the final product. These effects provide a finish close to a varnish finish, which has been actively used in the printing industry. Furthermore, the clear ink can be layered multiple times so that images not only look more enticing, but also create a strong desire to be touched.
The new clear ink will increase the opportunities for printing companies by adding more value and versatility to their offerings and in turn increase revenue.

Customers who have one of the existing products listed above will need to
implement the following upgrading procedures to be able to use the clear ink.

Update the firmware of the printer
Update the RIP software (RasterLinkPro5)
Replace some necessary parts (for UJF-3042 only)
