D&K Group, Inc. introduces the 2 and 5 mil line of High Performance Transfer Adhesives. The High Performance Transfer Adhesives are coated on two sides with a solvent acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that gives greater versatility than traditional adhesives and provides a superior bond to almost any type of surface.

Monday 01. June 2009 - D&K Group, Inc. introduces the 2 and 5 mil line of High Performance Transfer Adhesives. The High Performance Transfer Adhesives are coated on two sides with a solvent acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that gives greater versatility than traditional adhesives and provides a superior bond to almost any type of surface.

The adhesives are designed for use on substrates that require long exposure to harsh environments where standard mounting adhesives will not suffice.
D&K’s High Performance Transfer Adhesives feature a polycoated Kraft liner to help prevent “tunneling.” High tack, shear and temperature resistance make the product line suitable for industrial use, label-stock, transportation/outdoor signage, nameplates, electronics, and appliances.
High Performance Transfer Adhesives are applied in a two-step process. First, printed media is applied to one side of the adhesive. The other side of the adhesive remains protected by the polycoated Kraft liner until it is ready for use. Once the printed media is ready for application, the liner is peeled off and the adhesive “transfers” from the liner to the substrate, providing an immediate and permanent bond.
D&K Group’s High Performance Transfer Adhesives are available in 2mil and 5mil thickness. Standard rolls come in 27″ x 200’ and 54″ x 200’ sizes. Sample rolls are also available upon request. D&K Group recommends running High Performance Transfer Adhesives on wide-format laminators including the EXP 42 Plus and the EXP 62 Plus.
