Coming together for better solutions
Wednesday 04. March 2009 - From 10th - 13th March, VEMAG Maschinenbau GmbH will be presenting its solutions to the manufacture of modern food products at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne. Using the slogan "Coming together for better solutions", the company will demonstrate to visitors a wide variety of applications covering everything from single and multiple-strand filling to portioning in accurate weights and precise forming.
Markets and eating habits are quick to change and the trend towards high-quality convenience foods continues unabated. Food manufacturers face the task of turning ideas into marketable products and of continuously optimizing their processes. They require flexible and above all economical solutions from their suppliers.
VEMAG is making this challenge the focus of its appearance at Anuga FoodTec. To bring to life the development process – from the product idea to the technical approach and on to practical realization – the VEMAG booth will offer visitors tastings of an enormous variety of trend products with potential: for example, premium burgers, filled burgers, finger food, cookies and black-and-white biscuits. Visitors can then watch these products being made directly on the line in question.
A total of ten lines will be demonstrated live to give visitors a realistic picture of the production process. A highlight is the high-speed sausage line which is characterized by extremely short casing change times. Its rotating linking head with two linking horns ensures high outputs and thus extremely economical operation. Another feature will be the new minced meat line with integrated tray handling system. The tray magazine, denester and tray feed are all perfectly matched to the minced meat portioner and guarantee maximum portioning rates and precise weights for all common tray formats. The production of premium burgers will be demonstrated on a forming line consisting of a forming machine and a handling system downstream for distributing the product and positioning it in the packaging. Burgers with a perfect texture and natural bite will be overlapped or stacked in trays.
