Nefab acquires packaging company in France
Wednesday 28. January 2009 - Nefab has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in the packaging company NAIROD in France.
NAIROD designs and manufactures a large range of handling, storage and transport steel containers and the companys product range enables the requirements of major industrial groups. NAIRODS turnover amounts to 3 M and the company has 9 employees.
Nefab Packaging France will use Nairod as a bridge within the Rhones Alpes region.
The acquisition will broaden Nefabs technical expertise and product range by offering a new competence in packaging design and production of steel containers on the French market.
“The acquisition will strengthen Nefabs presence in Europe and also enable NEFAB France to develop its offer to international industrial groups” says Stefan Ekqvist, CEO.
