Epson Subsidiaries Robustelli and For.Tex to merge

Seiko Epson Corporation (Epson, TSE: 6724) has announced that Group companies Fratelli Robustelli S.r.l. (Robustelli) and For.Tex S.r.l. (For.Tex) will merge. Robustelli and For.Tex, located in the Como region of Italy, one of the worlds great textile printing centers, are core Epson subsidiaries in the direct-to-fabric (DTF) textile printing sector. Robustelli develops and manufactures textile printers while For.Tex engages primarily in textile ink sales and support.

Protection and hygiene concept: Heimtextil paves the way back to face-to-face meetings

To ensure that its events can resume safely, Messe Frankfurt has developed a concept that incorporates detailed hygienic, medical and organisational measures. Hygiene, social distancing and a supply of fresh air are important factors in the concept, which has been approved by the relevant authorities in the state of Hesse. It will be implemented at the first events in the autumn and also at the spring fairs in Frankfurt am Main, including the upcoming Heimtextil (12-15 January 2021).

Spoonflower and Kornit Mobilize

In the Spring of 2020, Spoonflower, a North Carolina-based supplier of decorated textiles serving entrepreneurs, graphic designers, and DIY artisans worldwide, installed four new Kornit Presto S systems for roll-to-roll, direct-to-fabric digital decoration. This installation, which effectively doubled Spoonflowers production capacity, was fast-tracked to answer a considerable increase in topl ine growth since the onset of COVID-19 restrictions disrupted the industry.

New Epson dye sublimation printer sets higher production standards

Epson introduces the SureColor SC-F10000, its first 76.8-inch wide format printer. The SC-F10000 is a newly developed sublimation printer for textile producers with particularly high demands on productivity, speed and reliability. The numerous work areas of the new machine include the production of fashion items, sportswear, furniture, promotional items and soft signage.
