Showa Denko K.K. (SDK) has decided to strengthen the Chemicals Sector’s personal care products business by integrating sales and R&D functions so far separately performed for three segments: materials for skin-care cosmetics; materials for curling agents; and medical-care-related materials, including those for medical equipment and base materials for pharmaceuticals for external application*. The integration is to take effect this month.

Stephen Gould Corporation Expands at Lakemont West

The largest privately-held packaging company in the U.S. has relocated and expanded its regional headquarters with the lease of 40,000 square feet in Lakemont Industrial Park. The office had previously been located at Brookwood in smaller space. The new regional headquarters joins Stephen Gould’s existing 122,000-square-feet fulfillment center in Lakemont, which is leased and managed by Crescent Resources.

JBT Corporation Announces Contract Award for Milk Processing Technologies in Malaysia

JBT Corporation (NYSE: JBT) announced today that its JBT FoodTech business has signed a contract valued at $4 million with Malaysia-based PML Dairies, a wholly owned subsidiary of F&N Holdings Berhad. JBT FoodTech will supply filling, closing and sterilization technologies at PML Dairies’ new Pulau Indah milk processing plant.
