Markem-Imaje – pushing the boundaries of economical pack coding

Markem-Imaje will be showing its new SmartDate X40 thermal transfer printer which helps customers control their coding costs and reduce environmental impacts by minimising ribbon usage and maintenance requirements. Features of the new coder include a direct ribbon drive, an improved cassette design to remove any wear parts, an increased ribbon length to 1100 metres to reduce changeovers and a rise in uptime.
