First GEOMAN e:line in operation

The Siegener Zeitung – founded in 1823 – is the first publishing house to start production with the new GEOMAN e:line. The press was designed to the individual needs and economics of the newspaper house. With numerous configurations available, the GEOMAN e:line can be upgraded and retrofitted at a later stage. This allows manroland Goss to offer its customers long-term, flexible and future-proof solutions.

Tamperguard adds new ETI Cohesio line

Tamperguard, a Montreal-based company with more than two decades of experience delivering self-adhesive tamper evident films, tapes, and labels, recently acquired its third ETI Cohesio machine. With this new equipment, Tamperguard continues to expand its production capacity and thus respond to the increasing worldwide demand for security films and tapes.

The open house picked up the thread of a customer event held under the same name last year. For the first time, it was now possible to show the complete process chain for packaging production in a live demonstration – from creation of the jobs in the MIS, via printing and die-cutting through to completion of the folding cartons. Koenig & Bauer has thus positioned itself as a one-stop partner for all the needs of this growth market.

On 16th and 17th May, Koenig & Bauer invited print professionals from all over the world to an open house spotlighting the potential for digital transformation and data-driven services in commercial printing under the motto Koenig & Bauer 4.0 – Commercial Printing & Connected Services (see also Press Release 0312019).

Strong interest from customers in packaging solutions from Heidelberg at the Packaging Days

In the middle of May, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) hosted its Packaging Days at the Wiesloch-Walldorf site with the theme Together on Track to Success. Over 350 participants from all over the world visited the Print Media Center Packaging on two days, where they demonstrated strong interested in Heidelbergs integrated solutions and got comprehensive answers to the growing needs in the industry.

Koenig & Bauer spreads the word on digital transformation and connected services

Digital innovation for printers all over the world: Between 16th and 21st May, Koenig & Bauer presents a raft of new customer-centric offers based on digital transformation, as well as new and further developed data-driven services, during a series of four open house events at its facility in Radebeul. While the first two days were devoted specifically to the needs and wishes of commercial printers, their counterparts in the packaging sector becomes the centre of attention after the weekend.
