The Arizona Republic announced today the promotion of Randy Lovely to Vice President News and Editor. Lovely joined The Republic in 2002 as Managing Editor and was promoted to Executive Editor in 2005.

Oldest Black Newspaper to Offer ‘e-Editions’ in Early February 2008

The Philadelphia Tribune, the nation’s oldest and the Greater Philadelphia Region’s largest newspaper serving the African-American community, today announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with Virtual Paper, a Canadian-based-digital publication firm, to provide a new, print-replica “e-Edition” (digitally transmitted edition) of the Tribune, by early February 2008.
