The New York Times Launches International Weekly Edition In Uruguay And Russia

The New York Times announced today the launch of its international news supplement in two additional publications: El Observador in Uruguay , and Novaya Gazeta in Russia . The section, which will be published in Spanish and Russian respectively, joins a global network of newspapers that carry the international weekly, first introduced in 2002.
