Journal Sentinel Inc. announced today that it has signed a three- year agreement to print all of the Pioneer Press Publications39 weekly newspapers serving Northeastern Illinois communities. The Pioneer Press Publications are owned by Sun Times Media Group. The publications will be printed at Journal Sentinels Burnham Street newspaper production facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Journal Sentinel Inc. is a Journal Communications (NYSE:JRN) company.

The Madsack publishing group, which is based in Hannover and is one of the major German publishers of daily newspapers , has switched eight of its online portals over to eZ Publish Premium, the enterprise CMS platform from eZ Systems. eZ Systems is the largest open-source content management software provider in the world, with headquarters in Skien, Norway, and a German subsidiary based in Dortmund.
