Certified for long-term archiving: Canon imagePROGRAF iPF TX-3000 and TX-4000

The Canon large format printers iPF TX-3000 and iPF TX-4000 have received the PTS certificate according to §29 DONot from the Papiertechnische Stiftung. The certificate attests that the prints are suitable for long-term archiving. This is an important argument for authorities, offices and all companies that still need to access legible documents even after years of storage. The large format printers, which can also be used to print architectural and cadastral plans up to a width of 111.8 cm, for example, are currently the only models on the market that are certified in this way. The TX-3000 is available from specialist dealers for 5,250 euros, the TX-4000 for 5,900 euros plus VAT.

BIGPRINTER moves to a new location

BIGPRINTER company today announced the long-awaited relocation of its headquarters to a new office to accommodate the rapid growth and future expansion plans for its business. The facility is located in Odintsovo – one of the Moscow suburbs, around 10 kilometers away from the city. The new building will host the business units focusing on UV printers developing, manufacturing and sales.

Mimaki celebrates the creative competition Gin Label Contest with the award ceremony

Gin Label Contest – Mimaki Germany initiated a competition in the summer of 2019 that was designed for all advertising technicians, print service providers and young professionals. In the Gin Label Contest, participants were asked to design a label for a fictitious gin bottle and produce it using digital printing. 147 applicants, including 50 entrants, brought their creativity and technology together on a gin label.

TV TecStyle Visions: Status as leading trade fair impressively confirmed

The trade fair association for visual communication and haptic advertising, EXPO 4.0, impressed with 421 exhibitors and 12,518 visitors from 30 January to 1 February 2020 in Stuttgart: TV TecStyle Visions, trade fair for textile finishing and promotion, enriched the trade fair association with a top-class range of exhibitors, a high degree of internationality and a supporting programme characterised by innovations and knowledge transfer.

World Wrap Masters at Fespa again

World Wrap Masters, FESPAs popular vehicle wrapping competition, will return with reinvigorated displays and a new scoring system to FESPA Global Print Expo 2020, taking place from 24 – 27 March 2020 at IFEMA in Madrid. The competition will take place in Hall 2 for the full duration of the event, where visitors will see a host of talented wrappers showcasing their wrapping skills whilst competing for the title of World Wrap Master 2020 champion.
