Landa Digital Printing today announces that the largest retail print specialists in Benelux, Royal printing Em. de Jong, has ordered a Landa S10P Nanographic Printing Press. The B141 in. digital press is expected to enable Em. de Jong to respond to ever more complex retail print requirements for increased volumes of shorter run, collated jobs.

Fedrigoni 365 project delivers a year of print creativity

Ricoh produced 4,000 uniquely different copies of the 2021 416pp calendar in ten different colourways. Fedrigonis Golden Star K was used for the jacket while Splendorlux was chosen for the cover and Freelife Vellum for the inside pages. Each calendar comprises 365 successful artwork submissions drawn from a pool of more than 830 designs received from UK based creatives.

Inks and coatings developer Epple Druckfarben AG has produced a coating to dramatically reduce the chances of bacteria or viruses being passed from person to person via printed media. Now commercially available, the new water-based varnish, Finishfit Microbe Protect 2400, has undergone a rigorous testing process, including tests on Jet Press printed products at Fujifilms Advanced Print Technology Centre in Brussels.
